And they do have chicken sausage options! Pop doesn't seem to have any meat I can eat, although their non-meat things do sound fancy as well.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
It looks like the weather will be perfect! Sunny. Light breeze (less than 10mph). Humidity under 50% during the days (it gets a bit moist at night, but the temp dips, so it won't be balmy). And the temperature looks to be mid 70's to low 80's for highs. Bring your sun hat and sunblock for walkabout adventures. And swimsuits wouldn't be a bad idea either. Gotta love SoCal weather.
Does anyone have anything planned for Saturday? My friend in Pasadena also recommended the Huntington Library, so that seems like a good destination.
I'm hoping to have breakfast or brunch with some of y'all on Saturday before I must depart!
I would kinda like to hit up the Norton Simon. I think the last time I was there was over 20 years ago and I know it's gone through a major renovation since then. I was thinking Sunday afternoon as I'm taking a red-eye out of LAX and have a lot of time to kill.
I was just perusing the F2F website again, (and may I just say, Wow, Kristin, the effort you put in! Thanks yet again!) Unfortunately, every time I look, I get re-overwhelmed by all the options! I think I'll let you guys decide wheres and whens and I'll just tag along!
But what if we all decide to go to different areas? t /snark
I'll let you fight over who gets me?
Ha! Although, I fear, I will be in the same boat. I'm not great at being "team leader" or "Julie the Cruise Director". But, since it's in my back yard, I will try and be a bit more active in putting out ideas for folks. All mentioned abvove are great ideas! Huntington, Norton Simon, Griffith, We haven't mentioned the Getty Museums. A bit of a drive, but worth it. I have no clue about shopping, as it's not my thing. I know there are a lot of shops in that part of Pasadena. No matter who wins ya, Epic, everyone should have fun. Even if it's just lounging at the pool.

I have actually been meaning to mention the Getty, but flaking.
Also, that place that Kat mentioned once where you can do ice cream sandwiches where you choose the cookie & ice cream flavor (starts with a "D", I think it's somewhere by UCLA). Is that within reasonable travel distance? (I swear, you'd think that someone who's spent her whole life in San Diego would have a better notion of LA geography, but I'm just useless at it).
