I've never made it to an actual F2F and I can't actual travel anywhere anytime soon, but I am lonely and I miss friends. I want to seriously put out an invitation to people for a long weekend at my place for a crafty/board gamey/tv/movie/wii playing weekend.
What I can offer is ground transportation once here (to and from airport. my car can only really hold 4 people at once), accommodations, and foodage for up to 6 people.
unless I get a job, the only time in the next 6 months that I know is out is late June.

So Chicagoistas, DH and I are considering a totally not work related weekend away. Shocking for sure. We heard a rumor that in Chicago they color the river green to celebrate our anniversary (March 17) and we thought we would check it out. Where should we stay? I expect we would fly in on Friday and leave Sunday. Of course the bestest part will be F2F time with the Chicagoistas so let's make a plan! Guess I need to buy gloves and find closed toed shoes.
