Philly peeps!
I will have a layover between 11:07 am and 1:30 at the Philly airport on 1/3/12, if anyone wants to/can meet me for lunch or something.
I've never been to the Philly 'port, so I know nothing about whether this is feasible for security, but I would be delighted, if it's possible.

Cool, Erin!
I don't know whether you'll be switching gates and/or want to come back through security or not? Keep us posted as the dates get closer. If your flights get fubar due to weather, we'll keep an eye on that too. I'm about 30 minutes from the airport without traffic.
I don't know how if I have to go out of security to get to the food court, but my flights are both US Airways, arriving/departing at terminals B and/or C, Sox.
I'm pretty sure there's something to eat on the outside side of security, as well as inside, but no one can get through security without a boarding pass, yes? Or you would have to come through it, and then go back.

Yeah, Erin would need to go out and then come back through.
Oh, right, so I'm coming to San Francisco next week. It is for work, and I have been crazy busy, which is why I kept forgetting to post about it.
I could do dinner (probably) Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, though I will need to double-check my schedule. Probably could not be free until around 7-ish. I am staying downtown, so I can get to BART, though I would rather not travel a huge distance, what with the having to work.
You probably mean two days from now, don't you?
Damn
Yeah, sorry for the short notice.
Oh it's not that--just going to be a crazy week, so I don't think I can arrange to be in SF for dinner.
Darn.
Question: it sounds lovely, but would it be for the F2F or a separate venture?
Sorry, haven't been here since I posted about Asilomar.
I was suggesting it for the F2F, but then again, I don't really think the urban set would go for it.
There is Internet everywhere. I was on it in my room, which was at the upper end of the complex, in a building called Treetop. There's also a new boardwalk through the grounds; it's lovely.
It's 1 AM and I'm headed to bed. I'll find out some deets about a small "conference" and post it later.
