This one was called "The Lion's Den"

Ha! That reminds me of a Cory Branan song that, as far as I know, exists only on bootleg recordings that smonster and I and a bunch of our friends pass around. Something about an albino hooker with a tattoo across her knuckles that read sin, but she spelled it with two n's, and waking up in a kiddie pool filled with gin with three broke ribs and a grin. But they met at a club called The Lion's Den. With Cory's accent, all of that rhymes.

I may have chortled. Out loud. In a public place. The best part is that he didn’t just say, “Thanks, but I’m married. This is my wife.”

Btw, I know you have an interest in Asian history--I thought you in particular might enjoy the Pacific Asia Museum here in town. It has a stellar reputation, and I’m ashamed to admit I’ve never been. I think the best part of people coming to visit is that it forces you to be a tourist in your own city.

It's a principle thing! She should just back off because he says he's not interested! It shouldn't take a pre-existing relationship!

That's not accurate. I didn't say I wouldn't take "No" as an adequate answer.

I'm merely commenting on the amount of sought-out chaos in that closed system.
