Wow, you've really mastered the power of positive giving-up.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have boots!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

We could have a barfight in Pasadena and wear cowboy hats.

Our wings are not tired.

A plan!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or - in true Buffista style - we could sit around eating, drinking, and snarking about people being Wrong On The Internet.

Because books.

I HAVE BOOTS, TOO.

It's all coming together now...

Pasadena looks beautiful. An old friend moved there, into a gorgeous cottage, and that was after he lived in a BEAUTIFUL apartment in the French Quarter for years. ENVY.

That’s the nice thing about this area--lots of places to walk to and slounge about, but also plenty of Things to Do and See for those who want to venture out.

BUT! As excited as I am about Pasadena, I’m hoping to hear from other proposers as well! Vegas? Portland?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Did I ever tell you guys about the night the SO got hit on at the cowboy bar? I was grateful for the clearly posted "check your firearms at the door" policy, let me just tell you.

I like the idea of Pasadena a lot, really.

Who was in danger of getting shot?
