F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Our wings are not tired.

A plan!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Or - in true Buffista style - we could sit around eating, drinking, and snarking about people being Wrong On The Internet.

Because books.

I HAVE BOOTS, TOO.

It's all coming together now...

Pasadena looks beautiful. An old friend moved there, into a gorgeous cottage, and that was after he lived in a BEAUTIFUL apartment in the French Quarter for years. ENVY.

The status is NOT quo.

That’s the nice thing about this area--lots of places to walk to and slounge about, but also plenty of Things to Do and See for those who want to venture out.

BUT! As excited as I am about Pasadena, I’m hoping to hear from other proposers as well! Vegas? Portland?

You know, there are places I wouldn't mind going back to ....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Did I ever tell you guys about the night the SO got hit on at the cowboy bar? I was grateful for the clearly posted "check your firearms at the door" policy, let me just tell you.

I like the idea of Pasadena a lot, really.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was grateful for the clearly posted "check your firearms at the door" policy, let me just tell you.

Who was in danger of getting shot?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Pix, if the F2F is in Pasadena, and I end up going, I would definitely want to do afternoon tea at Rosetree Cottage as they are good friends of mine.

The status is NOT quo.

Yes, of course! You know that they changed location from where they were a few years ago, right? I’ve been there for tea on your recommendation and love it.

Pix, yes. I'd love to see their new location and Mary and Edmund for that matter. It's been ages!
