A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Amy, I pimped CK to a friend's 13 y.o.daughter, and she is loving it!!

Also, I won (I have won three things: awesome earrings, a 2 day website design class and books in the last month -- bi-freakin'-zarre, since I Don't Win Things) copies of all the books from the ladies in your tour. I'm really jazzed to read them! Especially since I'm broke like whoa and I'm jonseing for a Day O' New Books Marathon.

AND I'll have a hard copy of Cold Kiss in addition to the ebook! YAY!

Because books.

Quickly: Having Bev, Barb, Barb's Abby, Cass, Jilli, and Plei at my first signing means it was THE BEST SIGNING EVER. Also, the latter three just left, and now I'm drunk, exhausted, and very sad we couldn't stay up all night and talk.

Buffistas = THE BEST.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Amy!! That sounds like a fantastic night!

I'm so jealous -- sounds like SO MUCH FUN! I'm thrilled that Buffistas are making your nerve-wracking first book tour into happy fun times!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Amy, do you know what your schedule will be on Sunday? We can probably work a brunch around it.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

That sounds like a fabulous time, Amy! I'm so glad it worked out that folks could gather.

Kathy, I'm not getting picked up in the lobby to go to the event till 1:15, so yeah, brunch would be great! It would be easier (for me, I'll admit) to eat near the hotel, because it's really better to travel with the other authors to and from the events, so the media escorts can cat herd better.

The status is NOT quo.

Amy, I’m so sorry I couldn’t come see you tonight. Huntington Beach is a haul from here, but I totally would have come down if it wasn’t a school night. I read your book and will promote it to my students, though!

Aw, thank you, Pix! We had a great turnout -- lots of avid readers and aspiring writers, and two librarians! Really good crowd.

It's so lovely here! The salt air is fantastic. Wish I had another day to enjoy it.
