A fair number of folks have recently expressed that they can't make the F2F. And so far we only have 3 room reservations, one of which is mine.

Do we need to run another poll to make sure we have enough people to make the hospitality suite and prom worth the cost? I had estimated the original cost of the suite/prom at $85/person when we were looking at 18 people. If we are just going to have a handful of people, we can restructure the F2F and have "prom" at my place or something.

Crap. We also just got REALLY bad IRS news, so we are definitely not going to be able to go.

I want to go - I just have to try to work things out because we have some significant deadlines at that time.

We're definitely out of the running, which is especially frustrating because damn, the flights from SFO are seriously affordable. But funds are always tight, and we're facing a biggish car repair that'll wipe out our reserves for quite some time (though, happily, it'll also come close to giving the car another decade of healthy life, so well worth it on balance; it's just that the timing sucks).

Due to some personal medical stuff and some deadlines at work, I will not be there. I would have loved to attend one in Colorado, too. I'm sorry.

Is there a chance of cancelling the F2F in Denver? I'm wondering because I was one of the three rooms.

I'm planning on coming, I just haven't made reservations yet. Been busy.

I wasn't in the original poll either. I was just wondering since the latest postings seemed to be all reports of not attending rather than anyone attending.

I said no on the poll to the weekend that was chosen. Indent yet know my work situation (won't for a couple weeks) and whether there'd be a chance.
