Denver was actually my third choice, since I've never been to the other two. (The ones that dropped out, STL and KC were also new and highly appealling to me.)
But I'm completely psyched about going to back to Denver.
Odd to have lived in "Central" for so many years and yet really all of the options were both new and exciting.
If anyone wants to see the actual vote tallies, let me know and I'll put them up tomorrow.
With all the snow days in the Midwest, maybe...maybe...not the first weekend in June? Maybe?
Yay, Denver! That's a FAST plane ride!
(Hell, NAW, I ain't driving across Kansas. Been there, done that, broke down next to the swine truck in June for 3 hours.)
ETA: OOh, just FYI, I found tix from KC to Denver for $163. Dude, that is cheaper than a car trip in gas, smokes, treats, meals and maintenence.
Dude, nice. I already blocked off the time off but I haven't gotten to the airfare searches yet. Maybe later tonight. Ooh! Need to set up a Kayak alert.
Don't book airfare until the dates are sent. Will be getting hotel prices soon and checking to see if there are any local conflicts that would eat up hotel rooms.
I'm going to a conference in Chicago from June 19 through June 23
Dude, we are conference-swapping cities that week.

Dammit! Well, I hope the other Chicago-istas are in town and want to hang.
Oh, I'm not booking, just looking.
I don't think I really have much of a vote since I havent participated up to this point. I do live in (almost) Denver and would be happy to help plan some, but I will be in San Diego from the 14th to the 17th of June.
OH?
I'm definitely in San Francisco June 21-23, and possibly working from Mountain View an extra day or two.
Edit: In conclusion, SUSHI.
