I don't think I really have much of a vote since I havent participated up to this point. I do live in (almost) Denver and would be happy to help plan some, but I will be in San Diego from the 14th to the 17th of June.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
OH?
I'm definitely in San Francisco June 21-23, and possibly working from Mountain View an extra day or two.
Edit: In conclusion, SUSHI.
I'd suggest checking to see if there is any big conflict or price differential affecting the weekends of the 17th and 24th and go from there.
Pridefest is June 18th and 19th so the hotel prices downtown will be higher that weekend. Not to mention a lack of rooms available downtown.
ETA - YAY DENVER!
Definitely Sushi! Yay
Too far behind in other threads to post, but I have actual F2F stuff to discuss.
DCistas! I am spending next weekend in your city. Arriving Saturday the 19th mid day and leaving Monday afternoon. We are staying at the Holiday Inn on C Street. Originally I booked that one because it was so close to the Metro and touristy stuff, but then I saw that a couple stations close to there were closed for construction that weekend, so we rented a car.
Now I just need to see if I have any long pants and closed shoes. Drop me a note or discuss possible meet ups here. My larger half is coming with me. Kid stays home to dog sit. Woot!
More later, off to basketball game.
Laura,
Alas, we will be in Boston that weekend.(Boskone)
Laura! I will actually also be in D.C. then, though I don't know how much room I have in my schedule. Maybe dinner one night?
Also, I think I stayed in that hotel in October. It's nice. Irritating about the metro stations, though.
Cool, Laura! I should be able to head into the District...just let me know what your schedule looks like.
I keep missing you in Florida and in DC, Sheryl! You need to come to Denver.
Dana & Raq, insent with contact info. We have no specific plans other than massive rest and relaxation after a particularly insane bout of busyness.
ETA: OOh, just FYI, I found tix from KC to Denver for $163. Dude, that is cheaper than a car trip in gas, smokes, treats, meals and maintenence.
hai this is relevant to my interests.
