We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I would like to point out that I had dinner with Nora and Tom, and you didn't.

But I did! ...a week ago or so. And lunch, too! And cold fried chicken while watching the Saints game! So nyah.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hmph, hmph. But I had the brenda!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would like to point out that I had dinner with Nora and Tom, and you didn't.

Yes, well, I had Liese and Dave.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Recently I had ALL HOLTS.

Y'all should be jealous for some time to come, really.

Art Crawl!!!

So sad I missed you, Liese.

I was actually in the western 'burbs today. (Back in DeKalb tonight.)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Next time, sumi! And maybe next time I'll make it a planned trip instead of a mistake. It's not that far from Indy! And actually I'll be in Springfield IL all summer.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Dude! I totally didn't see any of these messages until today. I wouldn't have been able to make because I already had plans, but still!

not your mom's socks.

SFistas! I can't believe we are going to be there in just a few days and I'm so very excited! I'm also clueless about where to go for brunch, so suggestions are requested (all I can think of is the Stinking Rose which is A: way out of the way, I think, and B: not the best place to eat before hopping a 13 hour flight with a 6yo.) David's suggestion for using BART is perfect, so if you can toss out some places downtown on the airport line, we can get there!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Trudy! I just now realized you left me a VM like three weeks ago! You totally could have stayed with me, except I wasn't home; I was in Tennessee. I wasn't ignoring you; I was just, you know, ignoring my phone.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sox, you can take BART directly from the Airport to the Ferry Building. It's the Embarcadero stop. Which will have a nice, busy Farmer's Market on Sunday plus a view of the Bay. And multiple eating choices there. Plus it's convenient for other people to get there by BART or Muni.

That would be my rec. From there you guys could walk or take the train up to Pier 37 if you were inclined (they do have a nice carousel there), or you could walk up to North Beach (bit of a hike but doable). Or you could take Muni out to the neighborhoods.
