That's the thrill of living in the Hellmouth! There's a veritable cornucopia of fiends and devils and ghouls to engage ... Pardon me for finding the glass half-full.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Good times, man. Good times.

Ahh, yes. The night we misplaced Perkins.

Our wings are not tired.

Anyone going to be around this Sunday evening?

Dammit, I'll be flying in from Seattle kind of late.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Trudy, you'll still be gone right? Feh.

Yep. Oy.

My new kindle arrived today! I had stuff downloaded to it before it even arrived.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

What's happening at Halloween?

I'm having a Halloween party! Any and all Buffistae are welcome! NC isn't as exciting as SF, but we have many NC-istas.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Anyone going to be around this Sunday evening?

That's my birthday! Are you coming to visit me?

I'm getting the pig!

You can't go wrong with Halloween in NC or SF, brenda. With so many wonderful people, how could either one not be fun?

This Seattle trip is our year late honeymoon / anniversary gift to each other. No real plans yet other than three days in Seattle (Oct 28 - 31), a day in Bellingham (get to see Bev!) and three days in Vancouver (Oct 2 - 4). Vacation - ahhh.

I think Cass was going to come up for a day or so - I hope she still is. If anyone in or around Seattle is available to hang out, that would be great, too. We've never been to any of these places - just thought they'd be fun to visit.
