It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Another possible activity for a Minneapolis F2F is a Mississippi River Cruise [link] or if there is interest [link] this one is not far from the Twin Cities and one of their boats features a Dixieland band. I would love to go once again, but would not be able to partake of a meal on a boat, and possibly I'm not the only one.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You two should put together a Minneapolis proposal.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Finally made it to London late Friday night. I'll be wandering around doing touristy stuff until Thursday 02 Sept. My plane leaves at 15:20, so I figure I need to be at the airport not much after noon. I'm staying very near King's Cross and St. Pancras stations, about an hour away from Heathrow by Tube.

Internet access here is working much better than what I had in Oslo, so if anyone would like to meet F2F, send an e-mail to my profile address.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Scola - have you eaten at [link] Are you interested? I'm getting NY planned and my (seriously awesome) NY coworker wants to go here.

Other NYers (are there any other NYers still? Wait, Jess and Ethan), I will be in NY Sept 27 to 30, longer if I can find a place to stay over on the 30th. Monday night is open, Tues and Weds are work stuff. Thurs right now I'm planning to be there during the day (and free for whatever), but may stay over longer if I can swing it.

Trudy, you'll still be gone right? Feh.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Scola - have you eaten at [link]?

Nope.

Mondays aren't great for me. I have therapy, and then I have to get up early the next morning for work, so there's only a small window where I'll be available.

You're more than welcome to stay at my place on the 30th.

Anyone going to be around this Sunday evening?

I'll totally take you up on that, Tom. Can't wait to see you.

SF is looking less and less likely. What's happening at Halloween? I should have some time off then and would love to go somewhere.

We're about.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You make this juxtaposition and all I can think is "Halloween in SF is AWESOME!!!"

Good times, man. Good times.
