The kids were perfectly happy with chasing the geese, looking at the museum exhibits (including a stuffed passenger pigeon, stuffed California Condor and other taxidermied items that weren't endangered way-back-when), going to ride on the carousel, or going for a paddle on the swan boats. We adults managed to have fun, too.

I had an excellent time seeing everyone and eating yummy food! Sorry I couldn't stay the night, but I am safely home (Mom's home, that is) and happy to be in my inside pants and ready for bed.
