I know that at least some of the Somervillians plan on making an appearance but probably won't be needing a hotel.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I've made a reservation for Fri thru Sun at the Hampton. Not sure what the prom plans may be at this point. I can definitely contribute to getting a room at a restaurant somewhere for Saturday.
I won't be attending at all, sadly.
sj, any thoughts on restaurants or bars for Saturday night?

I'm looking into several options. I'll let you know when I have info on availability of cost.
And just to prove that layers are the way to pack for this F2F, yesterday it was near 100F and today it is in the 60s.
It would be fun to start talking about that. Soon. We're less than a month away!!!!
sj, while it probably wouldn't work for Saturday, do you think there might be time to get a group together for Al Forno? Maybe Friday?

I don't think they take reservations, but if people would give me a show of hands of whether or not they are interested, I can ask if they will make an exception for a small group.
Possible Prom options:
I have called the Hampton in to see what they might have available, and I am waiting for the event coordinator to call me back.
Dave and Buster's located at the Providence Place Mall can rent us a semi-private area where the pool tables are for $30 per hour. The upside of this is that we would definitely not have to deal with noise complaints.
I have also called Joe's American Bar and Grill and The Melting Pot, which are also located at the mall. Both are having the managers get back to me. Joe's has a small event room that can hold 24 people, do you think we will need more than that?
