Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Our wings are not tired.

Providence sounds marvelous to me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Providence works for me.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'ma stick my neck out and say I'll be there. I've wiffled on every one since SF and, yet, still end up there. So, I see no point in adding to the tension by saying maybe. I will be there. I've never been to Providence, it would be fun to check out the area along with all my people.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I have work scheduled for that Saturday, but I will be there in time for the prom.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

It's a no-brainer on my end. Even Philly would have worked, but Providence definitely. It's just a shame that the McWaringles will have moved by then.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I will possibly be there as my father appears to be bailing on the plans that would have kept me from organizing that weekend.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I will probably be there, but can't say anything for certain until I have a definite date for my dissertation defense.

Our wings are not tired.

I think I can make it. My aunt is visiting "me" for a week and a half, but for half of that time, she's actually going to be in Auburn. So, I might be able to come after all.

The status is NOT quo.

x-posted with Press

Folks, it isn't looking good so far. I know we've only had the survey up for a day, but we've had 35 responses so far, and these are the results:

Yes 6
Probably 5
There's a small chance 7
No 17

If there's any chance you may be able to attend, please take the survey. I would say if we don't have a total of 25 (?) yes/probably responses, we may need to do something small and informal (maybe at someone's house?) this year. Either that or propose another weekend. Not sure. Open to suggestions, all.

My suggestion would be "a chill gathering that weekend".

It seems like a simpler course of action than "start over from scratch" and a better one than "chuck the whole thing."
