Kristin, the Providence Marriott bid is still good.
Here is the website for the hotel. If anyone has any questions about Providence before voting, please let me know.
ETA: As of right now there are 5 rooms available for Thursday night, 20 for Friday night, 20 for Saturday night, and 10 for Sunday night.
Awesome. So, final question before we can vote:
Who is the Philly point person from this point on? If we don't have someone, we will need to eliminate it from the running.
t crickets
I'm really not trying to be a PITA, but how long should we wait for a point person before declaring Philly out of the running? I have a vested interest now because it turns out ND can't bring me with him on the Epic (probably for the best since the ticket to England was stupid expensive), so I should be able to attend the F2F. YAY!
As a reminder, this was the Providence bid. sj posted the hotel website a few days ago as well.

I'm thinking that if no one has stepped up to host Philly by now, we should just go with Providence.
I can't go but I'd just presume Providence at this point.
Otherwise I don't think it'll happen. I don't think we've never gotten this late into the process without locking up the venue.
People need to plan ahead to get airplane deals and arrange their schedules and pick out their party dresses.
Could someone else make an announcement in Press that we are going to default to Providence if no one volunteers for Philly by tomorrow? I'm sick of hearing myself and imagine others might be too. If someone does volunteer for Philly, I will set up a vote between Philly/Providence; if not, then we will go with the hotel sj found and she can figure out how much we need to raise and start the fundraising. ND and I can probably manage the money if sj doesn't want to since we've done it before. He has a business PayPal that can take all kinds of payment (including credit cards).
Done. I'm down with this plan.
Thanks, I was just about to, brenda.
