I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm thinking that if no one has stepped up to host Philly by now, we should just go with Providence.

I agree.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can't go but I'd just presume Providence at this point.

Otherwise I don't think it'll happen. I don't think we've never gotten this late into the process without locking up the venue.

People need to plan ahead to get airplane deals and arrange their schedules and pick out their party dresses.

The status is NOT quo.

Could someone else make an announcement in Press that we are going to default to Providence if no one volunteers for Philly by tomorrow? I'm sick of hearing myself and imagine others might be too. If someone does volunteer for Philly, I will set up a vote between Philly/Providence; if not, then we will go with the hotel sj found and she can figure out how much we need to raise and start the fundraising. ND and I can probably manage the money if sj doesn't want to since we've done it before. He has a business PayPal that can take all kinds of payment (including credit cards).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Done. I'm down with this plan.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks, I was just about to, brenda.

Awesome! Could you add this link: sj "F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us" Mar 20, 2010 11:17:25 am PDT to include sj's pimpage of the city itself?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm happy to confirm with the hotel whenever I get the word.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I feel bad, because I would be willing to take point, but seeing as how I have never even been to Philly, I don't think I'd do a very good job.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't think Erin and I had ever been to Chicago before that first F2F, but that one was a lot looser in terms of plnning than the other ones seem to be, just because it was so novel to meet each other.

I doubt I am able to go, despite fnally having the money and it being on the East Coast, because the dates I voted for, which I think we have, I now have a work commitment, so I am sort of absenting myself from this, but I think that we do have to go with Providence at this point for practical reasons.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I am unsure of being able to attend, but Providence is fine with me.

::sigh:: I hate to say this, but since a lot of people's plans seem to have changed and it is suspiciously quiet in here, even if it's definitely Providence should we do a yes/no/maybe poll on being able to go? I have in mind the NOLA f2f and don't want anyone left on the hook.
