Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

What with the new job, I will most likely *not* be able to attend f2f. Sad, as last year was my first, and fell instantly in love. And if Philly is the city, would love to visit that burg.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Is next year the west coast? Because, despite the awfulness of the car breakdown, Hec is almost making me think about pitching Bakersfield for 2011--huge old-for-California hotel, smack in the middle of the state and probably desperate for big groups and willing to bargain; some of the prettiest bartenders he'd ever seen (who weren't juliana, anyway); and awesome thrifting opportunities. Wikipedia adds that it has an Olympic sized ice skating rink and a ton of excellent Basque restaurants.

I'm so more than half tempted.

I mean, I need something to think about since this year is clearly not going to happen for us, unless some other localista wants to smuggle one of us inside hir luggage.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Next year is central. Last year was West Coast, in Seattle.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think next year is Central, but that is an interesting idea.

Next year in Evanston! Again!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Next year in Evanston! Again!

I could make it to that!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I would so go to that place that took David in. Plus, I think I'm the only person who even remembers, let alone loved, that series Bakersfield PD with Giancarlo Esposito. And never having been remotely near the place, I don't have any bad vibes to counteract that.

Evanston F2F? I am all over that. Are we at 10 years already? Wait, not quite. But that would be awesome.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I would so go to that place that took David in.

There were some really cool, funky looking bars nearby that I wanted to check out too. Ideally with you.

Plus a ton of thrift shops. Also a punk record store.

I don't know about the other amenities in Bakersfield, but apparently there's a lot of horse riding around there.

Ron Eldard as a cop? I was there every week.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Most of us have claimed that we would be willing to go to almost anywhere , because mostly we just want to hang with buffistas.
