Ah, the pitter patter of tiny feet in huge combat boots. Shut up!

The status is NOT quo.

The top three dates (adjusting for the large numbers of "couldn't make it for June 12-13") then are:

June 26-27 (Providence or Philly; NYC not available)

July 10-11 (NYC, Providence, or Philly)

July 17-18 (NYC, Providence, or Philly)

Is that correct? Please please please speak up, especially if you are hosting/pimping a city and aren't available for one of the dates your city is listed for. I don't have time to scroll back and find what you said initially, sorry. If it works, I will put this up as the final date choice (everyone picks one date) tomorrow for a final vote. We will then be able to vote on the city.

Our wings are not tired.

Based on people voting in the polls...how much interest do we actually have for a F2F this year? 'cause maybe it's just me, but I hear echoes in here.

Has F2F interest waned after all these years?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Not sure where you are getting that, javachik. Looked like a healthy number of poll responses to me.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hi. Reading along and interested, just limited time and access. Not to speak for them, but amyth and Calli expressed interest.

Our wings are not tired.

Glad to hear I'm mistaken. I don't know what the poll numbers were for previous years in relation to the actual number of people who ended up being able to go.

Because books.

I'm certainly interested, and I can probably get to any of the three cities on the table.

One question: What's required to be point person at the site? Because I'm not sure I'm the right person to be responsible for that, if Philly is chosen. I just wanted to pimp it as a good place to go, but now I'm wondering if I signed up for something I didn't realize.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I'm a non discusser and poll answerer.

I have a schedual that means most of the time I can leave on a Thursday eve and head home on monday

I don't really care what city we are in. I only want a hotel that I can eat in, if I need to . I prefer places with public transport, but if I can get to and from the airport, I'm ok.

and DH has a stupid job. and his time off is really limited.

If we go east we should see his family. He has elderly parents, but can we swing the extra time. and i have family back east too. soooo it gets a little complex

and there there are the dollars. There have been some unplanned expenses.

And even though I have wanted to go to every F2F,I've only made it to two.

So, interested, but in no way shape or form able to commit.

not your mom's socks.

Javachick - thank you for an awesome list of things to do in Philly, and fantastic hotel research. From London, even. Seriously, just - thank you.

Because books.

You really did, java. Above and beyond. Thank you so much.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I've not joined in because I don't know if I can financially swing it and there are a few (okay, several) balls up in the air about my schedule for this summer. Since I don't know if I'll be able to go due to either schedule or money or both, then I can sit back and see how things shake out.
