If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yay!

Yeah, Chicago had a crap summer last year too. This winter's been pretty nice though, so hopefully it's a sign of things to come.

I think you meant summer, sj. But yeah. For the Seattle F2F, the weather was WAY nicer and warmer than it was in New England. I'm just worried that with this crazy winter (supposedly the result of El Nino) that we may get a nasty summer.

Yeah, sorry. I have winter on the brain.

I have sent out three bid requests to hotels in Providence. I have informed those who I sent the requests to that I would update them with an exact date when I had that information. I would be happy to pimp Providence if I receive a response in a timely basis. If not, I'm sorry, I was delayed in my ability to do this by my oral surgery and by my initial request for the RFP being lost to a spam filter. My one problem is that I will definitely not be available the weekend of June 12th. I am hosting a wedding shower on the Sunday and making the favors on that Saturday.

sj, don't fret, we haven't made a decision yet. We know that life happens.

But if we do providence on the 12th, you can probably get some of the craftier buffistas to help with the favors :)

Vortex, I wish I could, but this is a task my mother and I plan on doing at her beach house.

Our wings are not tired.

My selfish wish on Providence includes friends that live nearby, and the possibility of luring DXM to attend. Also, I have never been there. And yet I generally leave the voting to those that have a real preference because I am determined to attend wherever it is. I've never seen Nova Scotia either - come on Halifaxistas, represent!

I've never been to Providence or Philly, so I'm more into those. Plus, I know that if I go to NY, I'll spend too much money :)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm keeping out of the discussion mostly, as attendance by more than one member of Zmayhem is very doubtful and I had my turn last year.

Phooey. I started missing everyone and everything pretty much the minute Matilda and I stepped out of the car onto the curb at the airport, and it hasn't gotten any better since.

The strongest of crack the DEA has ever come across. Odds are good I won't be able to attend either.
