omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Phooey. I started missing everyone and everything pretty much the minute Matilda and I stepped out of the car onto the curb at the airport, and it hasn't gotten any better since.
The strongest of crack the DEA has ever come across. Odds are good I won't be able to attend either.

The status is NOT quo.

Can we narrow down to those top three dates (weekends of 6/26, 7/11, and 7/18), which the pimpers can use to get solid numbers, and now move on to official Providence (I assume you want to take point, sj?), NYC, and Philly pimpage?

My suggestion is that if one of those dates doesn't work in your city, you do a combo city/date pimpage for the ones that will. Thoughts?

Also, can we set a deadline for the vote so everyone know how much time they have to put together their sales pitches?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Like I said a while ago, 6/11 and 6/25 are out for New York. I don't know about July dates since they weren't on the table when I had the discussion with the hotel.

I'm not sure if I can get the same bid with multiple dates even if its only a few multiple dates.

Why is it we can't put up a poll for the usual number of days and pick a date?

Then the pimpers can have that information (both date and an estimate of participants) and negotiate with the hotels. THEN we can say what each option is and vote on location.

Our wings are not tired

What's happening in NYC on that weekend?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My suggestion is that if one of those dates doesn't work in your city, you do a combo city/date pimpage for the ones that will. Thoughts?

Sounds like a plan!

re-posting because I edited and the conversation went on. sorry for the dupes.

Sorry if I'm sounding snippy.

It's just very frustrating to be dealing with hypotheticals when there are decisions we can actually make (and which the hotel I'm dealing with demands).

Because books.

Isn't there one way we usually do this? As in a certain order to what we choose first, etc.? I don't remember because I couldn't come last year and didn't participate, but it seems like it might be worth hammering out one agreed-upon way to choose date/location each year.
