For DCistas and anyone who's in town, this weekend the National Museum of the American Indian is having a chocolate festival. Free. There will be presentations on chocolate (theobroma - food of the gods!) and tastings. From what I read, it sound like the tastings will involve old-style (as in Aztec/Maya) chocolate rather than Godiva (or even Hershey's). But still, chocolate!
Also, next week is Restaurant Week.
Sure, I'll be in DC **NEXT** week. Dang. Speaking of which, DCistas, I'll be in town next week. There was some talk of Wednesday get together???
I should be free pretty much all day Wednesday.
I'm free for lunch just about any day except Thursday.
Omnis, I had thrown out the idea of you coming to see Les Mis at my theatre.

Sweet! Care to Museum? It's nice to share the experience with folks.

How is Wednesday?

Yup, I replied with Wednesday. Either show (I forget what the other one was)
(I'm sensing a strong Wednesday thread here)
I can be free most evenings ... but I'm having some major dental work on Tuesday. I might not be up for eating, but there's always drinking, right?
Only thing about my theatre is that it's hard to get to with public transport. It can be done, but it's the metro to bus route, and I don't want to tire you out :)

Wednesday works. National Museum of the American Indian has a fine cafeteria (big emphasis on traditional American Indian foods), and it's convenient to my office. Big drawback -- it's a couple of blocks from the nearest Metro station, so a bit of a walk.
