Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Only thing about my theatre is that it's hard to get to with public transport. It can be done, but it's the metro to bus route, and I don't want to tire you out :)

Ann, that's a ferret.

How is Wednesday?

Wednesday works. National Museum of the American Indian has a fine cafeteria (big emphasis on traditional American Indian foods), and it's convenient to my office. Big drawback -- it's a couple of blocks from the nearest Metro station, so a bit of a walk.

Sorry, wonky computer. Didn't need to be said twice.

Hil, which museum are you in the mood for? Have you been to the reopened American History museum? Is that near Fred Pete? No clue. I leave it to you local istas to tell me. things look so close on the map, since they don't seem to put scales on them anymore.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I went to American History last weekend, but there are a bunch of exhibits that I didn't see. I've never been to the Native American museum. Air and Space is always fun, as is Natural History. American History and American Indian are on totally opposite ends of the Mall -- it is walkable, but it's a little bit of a trek.

I went to the Native American museum when I was in town last April and I thought it was fascinating. My mom was less enthralled, but we both enjoyed the cafeteria's wide range of offerings.

Juliana, I know you've been stressed and busy, so can I help out with the hotel process? I can make some calls and get quotes if the Seattle-istas would help me narrow down the options a bit. I know that Seattle gets sold out fast in the summer, and I'm getting worried we aren't going to find much at a decent rate with a big enough room block if we don't make some decisions soon. Let me know; I did the NOLA hotel from a distance and would be happy to lend a hand with this too.

I'm sending out an e-mail to the DCistas that have expressed interest in a mini f2f with me while I visit our nations capital. This includes HilR, Toddson, Fred_Pete, and Vortex. Um. Vortex, your profile addy just said Vortex, no @ or dot's, so no e-mail has been sent to you, and you are the main evening event!! Yikes. Please send me a note, so I can touch base.

If I missed anyone else in the thread, it wasn't an exclusionary thing, merely a skimming thing. Profile addy is fine.

It looks like Wednesday will be Buffistas day for me :) Sweet!!!
