Yeah, that was an x-post. Sorry if it came out snarky (to you or anyone).
thought it might be. :) Otherwise, I would have snarkily posted "As I SAID IN MY PREVIOUS POST [link] . . ." :)

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

I'd be happy to offer my webdesigning skills to the effort!
I never could link to either the vote or the vote results, which may nor may not have told me this (yes, this is a convoluted question): is this weekend for the F2F the weekend that both Fay and the Pete & Jilli can go? It seems to be yes from context above, so I'm doublechecking.
We can attend on the date, but it's a little early for Fay and she's having to try some shenanigans to be able to make it. Her attendance remains uncertain but we like to play it as she's attending and just hope the universe plays along.
Yes please.

Basically: no. It's spectacularly Not A Good Time for me, coming in term time and right before the Big School Production for which I should be busy preparing my class. And since I'm on the other side of the planet, any trip to the US really can't be less than a week off work. Which will be unpaid leave, on top of the whole travel-from-Bangkok expense itself.
cocks head and listens to the world's smallest violin playing the tragic song of OhMyPoorFirstWorldWoes. blushes.
In spite of which, I am bracing myself to ask my boss for a week's unpaid leave, and hoping that I can come along. Because Buffista F2Fs do not happen every day, and too many times in my life I've NOT done a thing because it felt like a dereliction of duty - and later looked back and asked what the bloody hell I was THINKING, as the damage/inconvenience that doing said thing would have caused was manageable, really. I would really like to attend. Fingers crossed!
I went to a Dr Horrible Sing a long blog thing in madison tonight.... i miss you guys.
We really need a Dr. Horrible Sing a Long up here. I should talk to my comic book dude. He's a huge Dr. Horrible fan.
For DCistas and anyone who's in town, this weekend the National Museum of the American Indian is having a chocolate festival. Free. There will be presentations on chocolate (theobroma - food of the gods!) and tastings. From what I read, it sound like the tastings will involve old-style (as in Aztec/Maya) chocolate rather than Godiva (or even Hershey's). But still, chocolate!
Also, next week is Restaurant Week.
Sure, I'll be in DC **NEXT** week. Dang. Speaking of which, DCistas, I'll be in town next week. There was some talk of Wednesday get together???
