Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

I'd pack socks too. It's pretty chilly in morning and evening, today it was in the high 30s when I left home. And even though the high is supposed to be 65 on Saturday, it's probably more accurately going to be in the 50s for the better part of the weekend.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I'm bringing socks and boots because I am a delicate southern flower.

There's something going on in my sinuses that I do not love. My roommate has had a nasty cold for several days. I may be in denial.

I am still no further along in packing because I decided I needed to catch up in Natter. Dur.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

laundry is in the dryer. Suitcase is still not close to packed. Not started. I take solace in that I fly Saturday. Even tho Friday will be filled with work and opening night festivities. Happy landings Buffistas! Can't wait to see y'all!

Heh. On my list tomorrow: Lots of laundry. Dyeing hair. Pedicure. Remembering to charge camera...remembering that although I normally pack in about 10 minutes, when it's not a work trip, I need more time, since I actually want to LOOK nice (and will need more changes of clothes!)

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

doing laundry now and taking a brake to ice my foot. not at all packed. wondering if i should bother packing an ice pack...i ice at least once a day and wonder if i can get away with two days without. I think it would have to be in checked luggage....forgot to ask hotel if there are freezers in room..

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You might not have one in the room, but in the hallway. I used to travel icing a lot, and it was usually doable, although sometimes with some help.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We are in Bakersfield. Wondering how long it will actually take us to make it into the LA area tomorrow. we haven't hit any of the really bad weather yet. If you got some gods to petition, maybe we will have an easier time than I think we will.

maybe i'll just bring a bunch o ziploc baggies and leave the gel ice packs at home. Hrm. i can imagine what TSA would think of a gel ice pack in my carry on luggage and it is not a pleasant scenario.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Well. My original flight was cancelled and now I'm flying into LAX but at least it's direct. Not pleased about having to pay twice to check the same bag. USAirways is so very much on The List. Special thanks to Laura and Brendan for rescuing a poor abandoned Empress from the bowels of LAX.

Our wings are not tired.

Aims, that sucks.

I am still awake due to a throbbing ear ache. I've tried all of the home remedies but alas, it's worse. Poop!
