Kate and I also have a mutual friend, who she knew in high school and I knew in college.
Not just a friend (for me), but my first serious boyfriend! And I love that Trudy met my friend S. in line for MCR. I even get little thrills when Buffista friends and RL fannish friends turn out to know each other on LJ.
meara and I figured out that we were at the same pimps'n'hos party in 2000 but never met. I went back and looked to see if she was in the background of any of my pictures, but she wasn't.
I love the degrees of buffistas. Of course it makes me think that everyone

us, which is a dangerous sort of thing to think.
SO! What do the Chicagoistas` schedules look like on the afternoon of the 29th (I think), between about 11 & 2? I`ll be Amtraking through & have a layover. If anyone`s up for train station Chinese food, or wants to whisk me away, I`d love to see people!

oh yes. and it is MONEY! It's this rich, wonderful porky broth with veggies and avocado and noodles, with three little slabs of pork belly on top.
Now I'm hungry for a rich porky broth.
