I love the degrees of buffistas. Of course it makes me think that everyone
is
us, which is a dangerous sort of thing to think.
SO! What do the Chicagoistas` schedules look like on the afternoon of the 29th (I think), between about 11 & 2? I`ll be Amtraking through & have a layover. If anyone`s up for train station Chinese food, or wants to whisk me away, I`d love to see people!

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Any DCistas want to go out with me for birthday dinner on Saturday? Maybe here [link] ?
Brenda and I are meeting up at Xoco in Chicago around 5:30 (or as close to then as I can actually manage to arrive and she to get there after work).
I will be Internet-free today, so if you don't have my cell number (It hasn't changed in years and years), then just show up.

The pork belly vermicelli is amazing.
Hil, I meant to reply earlier - I can't make it. But have a happy birthday!
pork belly vermicelli
This is a real thing?
oh yes. and it is MONEY! It's this rich, wonderful porky broth with veggies and avocado and noodles, with three little slabs of pork belly on top.
Now I'm hungry for a rich porky broth.
And that has made the decision - wonton soup for lunch for me. It won't be the rich, porky broth, but it will be close.
All I have on hand is beefy mushroom soup. I think I'm going to go get a fried chicken breast to make lunch more substantial.
