I'm very bummed, but I won't be going to DC next week; FDA reeived over 1,000 requests to attend the public hearings on social media, and the room fits fewer than 300. So, no dinner with Vortex and no meeting BabyFras. Boo!
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I'm heading up to Milwaukee to see my brother in a show next weekend (not this weekend, the one after that). I'm trying to figure out scheduling and stuff. Would any Chicagoistas be available/interested on Friday the whatever-teenth in doing lunch or something in the afternoon? I would be available until about 6 or 7.
I'll be around, definitely.

Extremely sucky, but does that mean you might be able to go to Leonard Cohen?

Nope, sadly, because our company will be getting news from a Certain Government Entity that day that will either cause a huge celebration...or a funeral.
Huzzah, Brenda! Let us coordinate times and places in the near future, after giving others an opportunity to speak up!
I am debating whether to have my parents pick me up on their way through-ish Chicago or to get to my brother's school entirely on public transit, or something between the two.
What school, Debet?
Carroll. It's in Waukesha, WI.
Yeah, I know where it is. You can get from Chicago to MKE easily enough, but getting out there without a vehicle would be challenging.
I did some looking, and it seems there is a bus. But my family wants to pick me up, so that will have to be an adventure for a future trip.
