I like the shore :).
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I miss the Jersey shore like mad. And now I can't stop thinking about zeppoles.
Prelim Scola plans
People are welcome at my place for drinks, snacks and Scola this evening.
Various gardens and Powell's tomorrow. Post or email and we can knock out times.
Alternate views of the PNW on Monday. Maybe Multnomah, Bonneville and interesting neighborhoods.
Tuesday we go coastal to look at jellies.
HONEY SOAP!
Lunch & Powells? I have a birthday dinner at 6. I can also do Monday after work, but I'm busy Tuesday.
Lunch and Powell's might work today. We'd chattered about the Japanese Garden too.
HONEY SOAP!
Ooooh! But I am not taking our Scola to the nude beach. Hell, I didn't mean to take you there, Perkins.
You could! or at least drive past it and not look!
Or I could try to figure out the name of the soap so I can buy it online.
I would love the F2F to be at the Jersey Shore! One thing to be aware of if anyone ends up in Atlantic City, though. Last time I was there, the boardwalk was really unsafe at night, even in groups. I'd prefer a sleepier town if possible.
My brother told me they went to Atlantic City recently and ended up not even getting out of the car. They went to Philly instead.
Damn, that's scary. Still, Jersey shore doesn't have to be about Atlantic City. I'm all about the beaches, personally. Give me a towel, a chair, a cooler of beer and a good book (or good company) and I am good to go. Of course, a volley ball net would be nice and maybe a horseshoe pit and a barbecue pit. And a boom box of some kind. Maybe a few umbrellas. Hee. I'm starved for a good beach vacation, I may have to put that on my list of things to do in the not-so-near future.
