What's a good site for searching for flights?
Actually, the gal I was seeing for a bit has a website that links in with the rovia network. The few prices I've checked lists stuff cheaper. I haven't used it yet, so can't say how good of a shopping experience it is, but cheaper is good. If there is a place to say, tell her BC sent you.

I like Farecast. It can tell you when the price is likely to go up or down.
OK, vacation time for me. My preliminary plans are:
Wednesday, October 7: NYC → San Francisco
Saturday, October 10: San Francisco → Portland
Wednesday, October 14: Portland → NYC
Anyone want to, you know, hang out or something?
Wednesday, October 7: NYC → San Francisco
That's when Nora will be here! Ish.
STUPIDEST QUESTION EVER.
Seriously.
Note to Tom: I am flying to NY that Friday morning. If you want to stay at my place while I'm gone, you're welcome to.
Ooh, I will be in Oakland 10/7 and 10/8. That means a possible Tom Scola sighting. Excellent!
Hi, SF-istas. My name is kat perez and I am a Scola stalker.
Do you need a place to stay while I'm gone?
No, thanks, I'm flying in and heading straight upstate with The Boys. I was trying to figure out if I could see you for breakfast on Tuesday morning before flying out, but I guess I'll see you here instead!
Were there plans in place for Nora? Tom, what were you thinking about doing?
I'm scheduled to be in the SF office on the 8th because of an after work thing, so I could be around that day for lunch or breakfast, or a late dinner.
That might make it harder for me to meet up with people in SF on Friday night, but I would try to make it if dinner or something was planned, or Saturday before you head to Portland.
