Were there plans in place for Nora? Tom, what were you thinking about doing?
I'm scheduled to be in the SF office on the 8th because of an after work thing, so I could be around that day for lunch or breakfast, or a late dinner. That might make it harder for me to meet up with people in SF on Friday night, but I would try to make it if dinner or something was planned, or Saturday before you head to Portland.

I'm heading to the mountains near Calistoga around 8 PM Tues. night 10/6 or (more likely) early Wed. morning 10/7. Then t- (and perhaps Katiebee) and I are meeting Tom and Nora in Calistoga late afternoon on 10/8. In case, you know, anyone wants to be dropped off in the wine country AND get a ride back (to Marin, at least).

Oh, dang, we will be on the road to wine country on the 7th! Ah well, at least Bayistas will have a week of visits.
Here are my plans for Buffista meetups:
Sunday, October 4- we'll be at Eos for their Happy Hour 5:30-7pm. We don't have any dinner plans that night, maybe we can migrate somewhere or continue nibbling at Eos because the menu looks yummy and JZ has provided her seal of approval. Oh! And JenK will be there.
Tuesday, October 6- we'll be at Toronado for drinks, probably by 5pm, until we need to jet for our 8pm dinner reservation.
Thursday, October 8- meeting at 3:30ish (we may be running a little late, but should be there by 4- definitely aiming for 3:30 though)at the Calistoga Spa Hot Springs Resort for some detoxing with -t and Javacat.
