Hey, I know this is super early, but I want to make sure I can see as many Buffistas as possible during our trip to San Francisco, so I want this to get on people's radar... also, I am super psyched about our trip and can't stop planning and thinking about it!
We are going to fly in on Sunday, October 4th and leave for wine country on Wednesday the 7th. We were thinking about checking out the happy hour at Eos (got that inspiration from JZ) on Sunday evening. [link]
Tuesday the 6th we thought we would like to hit the Toronado. We have 8pm reservations at AME but maybe we can do an after work thing at the Toronado for a couple hours before we make our way to dinner...??
Clear your calendars, we are hitting the town!
My Google calendar is labeled "Nora!!" for those dates.
Oh, good. I had it in my calendar that you were only going to be available the weekend of the 4th. I get back from Spain on the 4th, so something later that week will be awesome.
Gotcha on my calendar as well, Nora. Let me know if you are going to be available for lunch or coffee or drinks or something in Napa, that's a shorter drive for me than SF.
Great idea, -t... I am sure we would be up for something like that.
YAY Nora in town. I can do whatever is planned on a weekend, and/or make plans to work in SF one of the week days, if there are dinner plans
Yay Nora in town! Sunday the 4th is probably better for me.
-t. & Nora, I want to take a couple of weekdays off in Sept. and Oct. anyway to camp again at my new favorite spot above Calistoga. Trip-combining that with meeting up somewhere in Napa would be awesome. Is it feasible to meet for dinner (or dessert and coffee) on 10/8 in Calistoga?
eta or do you mean Napa the town, not Napa the county?
We will be in Napa the county- our B&B is actually in Calistoga.
On the 8th we have a 7:30pm reservation at Cyrus in Healdsburg and will likely be at the Bear Republic brewpub (also in Healdsburg, just down the street) for an hour or so previous to that.
We are starting the day with a 10am tour of the Schramsberg vineyards and are hoping to also hit Cakebread and Honig, and Silverado Brew House if there is time before getting to Healdsburg by around 6.
However, there is of course flexibility! maybe we could do lunch or a cocktail hour beer or other beverage? Or meet up at one of the vineyards or brewpubs? I am open to any suggestions on the day. Schramsberg in the morning and Healdsburg in the evening are pretty set, and I'd really like to hit Cakebread (because I love white wines) but really, we'll be exploring.
