F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Awesome place for a picnic!
Tom, those pictures are the next best thing for those of us who couldn't be there.
I love the outfit on the lower right. And I think I'm in love with the person on the left. Her outfit suits her coloring and her demeanor.
Jilli looks supremely at ease and lovely, no matter with whom or what landmark she shares the photograph.
That looks like it was so much fun! And the setting is absolutely gorgeous, with gorgeous people and very yummy looking food. I am happy to be able to just gaze at pictures of such an enjoyable repast.
Thanks for more great pictures, Tom. Jilli, you look lovely.
Oakland Cemetery [link] would be a great spot for this. It even has an annual Victorian Sunday in the Park [link]
StuntHusband, if you haven't seen Oakland, you ought to try to get there when you're in Atlanta. I'm always up for it, although I find the many stone angels considerably creepier after "Blink."

Wow! Looks like it turned out to be a FABULOUS day!!! I forgot NYC was a picnic. That explains the worrisome rain eeks earlier. Very jealous.
And, ooh, Jilli has cool glasses. And a tattoo I've never seen! It appears to be a face of some sort.
I was thinking BOTH those things myself.
And I think I'm in love with the person on the left. Her outfit suits her coloring and her demeanor
Yes, I was thinking this too. I could swoon.
Thanks Tom for sharing.
Oh wow. Tom, as usual, your pictures are stunning. Jilli, I'm so glad you had such a gorgeous day and such a wonderful turn out. Love it!
So...umm...Tom, if you were to decide to take a little vacation to Hawaii the first week of January and show up with your lovely self and a camera at a certain restaurant on the 5th where there just might be a little wedding type thing going on, I wouldn't mind.
What?? A girl can dream, can't she?
Lovely pictures of lovely people! So glad the weather was fine (yes, I know the Goths avoid the sun, but a picnic in the rain would be No Fun).
May I suggest, if anyone's doing a cemetary tour, Louisville's Cave Hill Cemetary - they have black swans.
Boston-area Buffistas! I will be in Boston from Sunday, August 2, to Sunday, August 9. I will be staying with a friend that second weekend, so I may not be free, but during the week, I'm good. Let's have dinner and dominate at pub trivia or something. I'm staying at the same hotel as last time, the Sheraton Boston by the Prudential Center.
P-C, that hotel is right near a place we had dinner one of the last times you were in town (The Summer Shack), and I think we also found a trivia night at the bowling alley downstairs. Just for a frame of reference; not necessarily what we'd want to do this time around.
Jilli, I'm tasked with reminding you that in addition to P-C and myself and any other Buffistae who are coming into my fair burg for Comic Con, one of my very awesome non-Buffista friends who has chatted with you on LJ is very much looking forward to meeting/hanging with you. I believe there was a suggestion of dinner made, perhaps? I can't remember what her LJ handle is, but she said she discussed becoming a Goth, and that she didn't think she could make a full-time commitment, maybe she could "be a Goth on Tuesdays"? Ring any bells? Anyway, we'd love to try to catch a meal with you and M. Pete - Friday or Saturday dinner, perhaps?
Hey Massachusetts peeps! Since JenK will be leaving our coast for the other one, we are having a farewell send off with beer. This Thursday, 6ish till whenever, at River Gods in Cambridge (outside of Central Square.) Let me know if you can go or if you have any questions!
