Drat it all! I seem to have injured my foot somehow last night, so I now think that I cannot drive my no-cruise-control-manual-transmission vehicle through SD County Fair traffic to get to LA traffic, no matter how much the prospect of Reasons and LAistas tempts me.
Guess I'll have to settle for seeing you guys at ComicCon!
Darn. D agreed to work for his sick boss tonight so no book signing for us either.
BTW, ComicCon attenders: I hear that they're going to do a performance (a reading) of the 13th episode of Middle Man. (Mark Sheppard posted this information on FB.)
Also, ComicCon attendees, did y'all know that David Tennant and Russell T. Davies are going to be there?

(And John Barrowman, too...)
::Begins making plans to be in line at 6am that Sunday for a 10am panel::
Man oh man, that's some major league squeeage. Middleman reading, Tennant, Barrowman.... much to nom nom nom upon, mentally speaking.
We asked Lillian what she wanted to do this weekend. She suggested "Go to San Francisco?"
That is too polarbearing cute.
My outfit from Prom 2008 is still hanging up on the hook on the inside of the bedroom door. I can't manage to make myself find any other home for it. Any minute now, I'll have some reason to wear it again....
I still have to unpack and then repack for the beach next weekend.
Lord, I hope for your sakes it's not in New England. Or, for all our sakes, the weather "prophets" are wrong (in quotes since they got the majority of today DEAD WRONG, THANK DOG).
