A quick aside to those of you who kindly let me scarper with the copy of Souless by Gail Carriger
Hee - if that's the one I think it is, my first thought when I saw it was "Hey, Jilli's on the cover!"
(It's one of my MiL's freebies from BEA. I'm glad it's good!)
We've boarded the flight home. I wish I could take everyone with me.
I am home. Well, actually I'm at work. Sadly. I just sucked and read all of the f2f posts - it was almost like being back there. But not as much fun.
I love you all verra verra much, and thanks again to those who took care of me when I was... indisposed Saturday and Sunday.
Now I get to go through all the pics, and dream of next year.

sits back in chair, sips a glass of White Star (it IS before noon, so I'm being good) and waits for the cavalcade.
smonster in DC! Sorry I can't host you, but dinner Sunday would be fun.
Going to an F2F makes being at home feel surreal.
Going to an F2F makes being at home feel surreal.
And kind of unsatisfactory.
Made it home safely.
I keep being amazed, thinking about all the fun that I missed because I had to sleep and whatnot, and all the fun that I was able to have, that adds up to a nearly incalculable amount of fun in too short a period of time to be really credible. Miss you all!
No one is going to appear and say they are going to go get food, do I want to go with, today. Much less have pink, sparkly vodka appear as if from nowhere.
yep. It's a weird ambivalence. I love my home, but I miss yoooooouuu guuuuuyyyyys!
Yet again reinforcing the need for Buffista Island
