A quick aside to those of you who kindly let me scarper with the copy of Souless by Gail Carriger: um, I'm sorry, I cannot ever let this book leave my possession. I am halfway through it, and it is EXACTLY what I had hoped for. Victorian-ish hijinks with vampires and werewolves and parasols! And it turns out the copy is signed. Um, I'll buy a copy and send that one around to those of you who wanted to read it too, I swear.
(Spoiler for the opening chapter:
our heroine kills a vampire with a wooden hair ornament and a parasol!
This book is fantastic!)
We are at our layover. One more flight to go, but first we have a substantial layover.

Hee - if that's the one I think it is, my first thought when I saw it was "Hey, Jilli's on the cover!"
(It's one of my MiL's freebies from BEA. I'm glad it's good!)
We've boarded the flight home. I wish I could take everyone with me.
I am home. Well, actually I'm at work. Sadly. I just sucked and read all of the f2f posts - it was almost like being back there. But not as much fun.
I love you all verra verra much, and thanks again to those who took care of me when I was... indisposed Saturday and Sunday.
Now I get to go through all the pics, and dream of next year.

And kind of unsatisfactory.
