Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

aw, the duck boat tour. We have that in Boston, and I've done it once with an out-of-towner (Tom's mother) and it was fun. I figure, everyone annoys me as a tourist, I might as well get in on that action!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Just woke up from vitally necessary after work nap.

Missing you all.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

The really bad part about unpacking is that it's followed by, "Now I gotta do laundry." Don't wanna.

As soon as I left the hotel on Sunday to go to dinner and the airport, I began missing everyone fiercely. It's nice when everyone is real.

I guess it's a good thing I decided to save money this weekend--the polar bears at Chase have more than doubled the minimum payment on the student loan balance I'm carrying with them. I have to find an extra $200 in my monthly budget.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

One of my mom's friends drives a duck tour in Boston. He made a ton of money running his family's business, retired at age 55 or so, and decided that what he really wanted to do now was drive a duck tour.
