F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

I did! Fortunately the plane got in early so it was all fine. And I am now back in Chicago to find that summer has finally arrived. Yay!

Plei, you and I have to attend one of these things at the same time again someday, and pose together wearing velvety irridescence.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Landed in Newark, fell asleep on train to City, fell asleep on subway uptown. Dropped bag, walked dog, changed clothes, slept on subway to work... this is going to be a VEEEEERY long day.

Next year, a weeklong F2F. With Prom night babysitters.

Laura Holt has mentioned in the past doing such a thing at Otter Lake, It would be FANTASTIC. And we'd have the Prom on Saturday so people who could only come for the weekend could attend.

Our wings are not tired.

Otter Lake is a little shy on prom sites, and chilly. Buffistas always welcome though. I've often toyed with the idea of having a Buffista Thanksgiving in Delray Beach for people that wanted an excuse to not be available for other kinds of family gatherings. Will have to consider that one again.

I've loved all the pictures! Not offering any sympathy for Monday morning gronk for those that had the joy of attending the F2F.

Glad to hear you made it back OK, brenda.

And I am now back in Chicago to find that summer has finally arrived. Yay!

I got back to MA and it's sixty-nothing degrees and pouring rain. I guess I also miss the Seattle WEATHER. Who'da thunk it?

You mean you miss cloudy 56 degree weather in June?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Morning. I gotta pack. Shower. Just want to lounge. Packing sucks.

Speaking of. ND & Pix, Do you have room for a small bundle? Laga left her bathing suit stuff here. I tried texting last night, but I guess you were asleep by then.

I'd definitely take what we had on Saturday and Sunday over this shite. Hell, at least on Friday, the rain was intermittent.

That said, I'm still happy it's not 80+ and humid.

I'm glad to see people have arrived home safely. I don't wanna get up and pack. Frank's post about the weather isn't changing that.
