Arrived alive.
Actually, the trip went very smoothly. No problems with the flights, thank goodness. The Gray Line Downtown Airporter bus drop-off at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel is katty-corner from the Hotel Monaco, less than a fifty-yard walk to the hotel door. No reservation needed, if you are paying cash ($11) you can pay the driver directly.
I got checked in about 3:45, which makes it only 40 minutes from when the bus left the airport.
I just got to see Fay and Pete have a slappy-hands fight in the middle of my living room. This is going to be the best weekend ever.
I am in the international terminal of SFO, awaiting Vortex and megan and enjoying some tastytasty whiskey.
Why is the flight leaving the international terminal? Did Washington State secede from the union?

Clovis says that particular part of the plan isn't ready to be launched yet.
Just to be clear, it's the PNW and not just Washington State, yes?

Yes, he considers Oregon to be part of his territory.
Hee! Fay sings in the shower. I can just hear bits of her lilting voice through the door.
ETA: Double-hee! She's singing songs from Sweeney Todd!
It's true. If I open the door to the studio, I can just about hear it too.
ETA: Oh god, not more Todd!
Grump grump grump....the one time I REALLY want to leave Spokane (which has hourly flights home) early, and get to the airport in time (I've previously gotten here, and 20 minutes later been on a flight), of COURSE the flight before the one I want is delayed, so the place is packed full, and the flight I want is already full, and it's chaos, and there's no way for me to get on the flight I want, and I have to sit here for an hour, waiting for my actual flight. SIGH.
