Grump grump grump....the one time I REALLY want to leave Spokane (which has hourly flights home) early, and get to the airport in time (I've previously gotten here, and 20 minutes later been on a flight), of COURSE the flight before the one I want is delayed, so the place is packed full, and the flight I want is already full, and it's chaos, and there's no way for me to get on the flight I want, and I have to sit here for an hour, waiting for my actual flight. SIGH.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Motherfucking bitch-ass Virgin Air not only made me gate-check my bag, but now they're making me pick it up at the claim instead of the gate. And they wanted to charge me $15 for the privilege. Argh.
However, megan, Vortex and I are all boarded, which is more than I can say for JZ's adventures with Alaska Air.
I think Saturday after the brunch, our plans are the Science Fiction Museum and Experience Music Project. There's a Jim Henson exhibition!

Oooh! Science Fiction Museum!

Yeah, she just called. Their plane is still on the ground in Palm Springs with mechanical problems. They've got a couple of standby options and the airline is also offering to put them up for the night in a hotel - which would be an adventure for Matilda but less so for Jacqueline.
...i've never found the science fiction museum all that exciting, myself. But i did enjoy the EMP. Luckily, one price gets you into both. (I did see the Henson exhibit with a friend on a free museum night the other week...it's...OK. Small. some random muppets under glass, and a couple cases from Dark Crystal and Fraggle Rock).

I have no idea what all of you people are jealous about. Heck, I haven't even seen any new posts in the past 24 hours. *Especially* posts from or about Seattle.
Nope. Nuh uh. No way.
Steph Sucks, but she is also very very correct.
