I pointed out that this is the goddamn summer of Something Already Booked For Every Weekend Until Late July

I'm making it to the F2F, but this summer has turned into, "Oh dear doG, I have a grand total of 5 days that I will in at home between now and August 17th."

We've had 2 weddings and 3 graduations, which equals 5 parties and a considerable outlay of gifts/money. Then there are birthdays, as well as a nephew of The Boy's who just came back from serving 9 months in Iraq, for whom (deservedly) there's a shindig. July 4th is just our fun weekend where we will NOT go out of town because our neighborhood's July 4th Rock & Roll carnival and July 4th parade are not to be missed.

Still, it's a lot of shit going on.

The summer has conspired against me too. This will be the 2nd one I have missed. Hopefully the last one missed. It is a very sad making thing.

I thought so too, but there was basketball tournaments, and summer school, and work stuff, and just too much of life getting in the way. Sucks. I demand lots of pictures and videos.
