What I'm really asking, though, is are people okay with the donation jar
Sounds like a good plan to me. I would guess people would also be bringing in other stuff (i.e. booze) as well? Or other kinds of snacky treats (cheese & crackers, etc.).
'Safe'
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

I wanna go to f2f =(.
Ah well, you and I can seethe with envy from afar as we read memorable quotes posted here. I have so been missing seeing the West Coasters in person.

The Boy was aghast when I told him that the F2F was in Seattle and we weren't going (he loves Seattle). I pointed out that this is the goddamn summer of Something Already Booked For Every Weekend Until Late July. And the "somethings" are, 9 times out of 10, a family gathering for his family or mine -- sometimes both, on the same day (like last night).
So it was never gonna happen for us, which sucks. But next year! Definitely! (I hope.)

I'm making it to the F2F, but this summer has turned into, "Oh dear doG, I have a grand total of 5 days that I will in at home between now and August 17th."
Has anyone been to every f2f?
Not me. I missed Chicago and Atlanta.
I missed LA.
I missed LA, but I've been to all the rest so far.

Scola, I think, and Trudy? Maybe Laura?

We've had 2 weddings and 3 graduations, which equals 5 parties and a considerable outlay of gifts/money. Then there are birthdays, as well as a nephew of The Boy's who just came back from serving 9 months in Iraq, for whom (deservedly) there's a shindig. July 4th is just our fun weekend where we will NOT go out of town because our neighborhood's July 4th Rock & Roll carnival and July 4th parade are not to be missed.
Still, it's a lot of shit going on.
