Friday's usually ultra casual and a "see what happens" sort of affair. I usually spend it hanging out in the suite waiting tsay hi and give the traditional Buffista greeting. At some point, people stagger out for food. I'm planning on walking over to Pikes place chowder for lunch, since it's a madhouse in weekends.

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

That sounds like a good idea, aside from the chowder part (unless it's corn chowder), but I'm sure there are plentiful options.
If the local-istas are planning things (or even just contemplating planning), that would be helpful to know to determine what's the what.
Vortex, did you change your hair? ;-)
ooh ... you haven't seen my hair! yes, I changed it two years ago, but I haven't been to a F2F since.
Saturday is also the Solstice Festival in Fremont...
We'll be getting in on Thursday and will be up for doing something on Friday.
Can anyone recommend a good place to go for oysters? Are they good in Seattle? I'm assuming they would be, but I have run across weirder things in my life. I think Friday would be a good day to sit outside with a cool beer and oysters.
Also, I've got the official "SNOG" shirt in my possession and since I'm not coming in until Friday noon, I figure it would be good to pass it on to someone who will be around on Thursday to start greeting people with it. Any takers?
If anyone is a big fan of fresh salmon and can afford it, head over to Pike Place Market before you leave and get a fish with travel packing to take home. My sister and I did this several years ago when we were coming home and brought back two fish (one for each parent)--it cost around $50 for the cooler and dry ice, but we were able to check it on the plane.
A quick car-rental question; which companies do you like, which should I avoid? I'll be getting a car from Burbank airport in LA.
Hi! I know one or two of you remember me... I'm thinking of attending this shindig, being as I had so much fun with y'all in Atlanta! It'll depend largely on $$ (I just bought a house). Is it too late to get the group rate on a room?
Oh, and Frank... you *are* bringing THE HAT, aren't you?
