Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Hrm, so sad to see peeps not being able to make it.
Hey, Localistas (Tacoma, Portland, et al), which nights are you guys going to be in town and for Seattlelites, any of you planning on staying at the hotel on Saturday night?
Not sure yet (due to job) what nights prior to F2F I will be in town.
Will def be at hotel Saturday night, possibly Friday night.
Right now i'm looking at being there Fri, Sat, Sun. Still waffling over spending Sun night as finances are super tight right now. Does the hotel have free parking???
eta: all this is dependant on my *not* getting shuttled to a different shift and suddenly losing my days of....*fingers crossed that i can keep vacation days after getting the inevitable shift/shaft.
Erin, if you've been approved by your supervisor, then it seems reasonable that you've made non-refundable reservations. I would think that the time off would still be approved. But then again, that would be logical, and I am slowly learning, the rest of the world doesn't live in a logical state.
Erin, it doesn't if I recall correctly, but I am sure we can find somewhere to stash your car.
Re, the parking, from the hotel's web site:
Question Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
Answer The hotel offers onsite valet parking only for an overnight fee of $40.00 USD + tax. Parking is not included in the hotel room rate.
Damn, hadn't even thought of that.
Are there any buffistas in Missoula?
Are you going to Missoula?
Looks like that's where our motorcycle trip is going to begin and end. We are going for a week at the end of the month, all paid for by Best Western and Harley (woo hoo!). We were originally going to start in Spokane and go through Snake River Canyon, but we have to start the trip in a city which had a dealership which could loan us the right size bike, so Missoula it is. We get to ride Rte 12 from Lolo to Lewiston, which is supposed to be one of the most beautiful roads in the Northwest! Just me and my Honey on a long ride.
Of course, being the rough hardcore biker-types that we are, I am currently looking for a good non-fiction audio book to listen to through the iPod into my helmet sound system while on the road.
