Where’s the best place to fly into for Stamford? Any locals have an opinion? There’s better flight options to LaGuardia, but I seem to remember thinking that Newark might be easier.
Newark is an easier connection to Amtrak, if that's your next step.

If you're taking Amtrak, you can take NJ Transit to Penn Station and transfer to Amtrak to get to Stamford. NJ Transit is miserable with no luggage racks, but it's only about 40 minutes to Penn.
