It sounds lovely, but it wouldn't be possible for us. The end of May is beyond busy at school.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
In theory, May '25 is great for us, but my life isn't structured for planning that long in advance. Too much in my life is subject to change.
Are you polling for interest, Java? I think I have the same prob Laura does.
My other general thought is that it sounds complicated WRT arrangements, honestly, but I know I have a reduced tolerance for planning en masse as I get older, ha!

Yep, this is my feeling, too. I think we may have moved into an age where large Buffista gatherings only happen with major events — happy ones, like weddings or visits from UnAmericanistas like Shir — or sad ones, like JZ's memorial.
Shir is in my house! We are heading into the city to walk the High Line (hopefully will meet with Tom) and then go to The Strand, will share pics on FB!

Hooray!

Fun!
I always send people to Tia Pol, the Spanish tapas restaurant that's near the end of the HIghline. Great croquettas.
Awesome!
Hello, Americans! Lovely being in your country and at Jess' place with her family.
If you have the time and the availability, I'm free for dinner in NYC on May 2nd.
Also, it's time to decide on where to stay in SF (13th-20th). I'll be commuting everywhere, arriving and leaving via SFO. If you have any suggestions for a cheap (butnot a shared dormitory cheap) place in SF that's reasonably close to commute and has 24 hours desk, let me know? Having free wifi is a bonus.
Actually, one more thing: I've been told to go and see Little Shop of Horrors. I'll be able to see it on May 1st or May 2nd, in case anyone here would like to join me.
Edit: a few hours ago I tested positive for COVID. It's very mild, I'm doing OK and at Jess', but I'm hitting pause on any plans until I'm 24 hours without fever and hopefully testing negative (and then mask everywhere and keeping my distance from people). Crossing fingers that these 24 hours are tomorrow.
Plans, y'know.
