Hello, Americans! Lovely being in your country and at Jess' place with her family.
If you have the time and the availability, I'm free for dinner in NYC on May 2nd.
Also, it's time to decide on where to stay in SF (13th-20th). I'll be commuting everywhere, arriving and leaving via SFO. If you have any suggestions for a cheap (butnot a shared dormitory cheap) place in SF that's reasonably close to commute and has 24 hours desk, let me know? Having free wifi is a bonus.
Actually, one more thing: I've been told to go and see Little Shop of Horrors. I'll be able to see it on May 1st or May 2nd, in case anyone here would like to join me.
Edit: a few hours ago I tested positive for COVID. It's very mild, I'm doing OK and at Jess', but I'm hitting pause on any plans until I'm 24 hours without fever and hopefully testing negative (and then mask everywhere and keeping my distance from people). Crossing fingers that these 24 hours are tomorrow.
Plans, y'know.
Shir has been dropped at the train station to continue on to the next leg of her NYC journey! 10/10 houseguest, would host again!
loves Jess
Jess and family were wonderful, even though I brought the plague to their house.
I'm at another friend in Manhattan. Tomorrow will be an office day, but on Thursday I'm free in the morning until noon and possibly for dinner as well, and if you'd like to join me and other friends at MoMA let me know. I'm adding my number in the profile and I have WhatsApp and Signal.
Plague status: 24 hours without fever were accomplished earlier. I am testing negative. Other than an occasional cough and some congestion I am OK (but still masking, of course). I'm also moving every possibile risky activity outdoors for the next 10 days and masking. And I'm still wondering where the hell I manged to catch it.

Oh! I hadn’t realized you would be there that week. Hooray.

I know Drew, Kristin and Aimee are staying at Hotel Adagio: [link]
Which is not far from the venue for the Memorial.
Check with me if you want to know something about neighborhoods.
Thanks, David!
Today is my last day in NYC - last call if you'd like to meet!
I wish I could make it into the city tonight, but my daughter had some of her artwork selected for a local student show and the reception is this evening! (I don't know what art, she won't tell me - guess I'll find out when I get there.)
On my way to DC, to a weekend with JenP (and other people, if they wish to join)!
