in LA
That's not too far, yay!
on May 20
It is for a Monday, boo!
heads up again to LA- and LA-adjacent -istas that I'll be in town this weekend (mostly overscheduled) and then at Children's Bookworld Monday night. There's an open signing from 1-3:30 on Saturday at the Nebulas also!
I have so many great photos (I didn't get them with everyone and now I'm on the othercoast I am sad) and I wish I had a place to put them all that wasn't facebork.
you all are the best.
sparky I'm sorry if whale has some questions about our motivations. that's not entirely my fault.
I have an interview on 11/11 in Chicago. I'm coming in the afternoon before, as it starts at 9:30. If anyone would like to meet up for drinks and/or dinner on the 10th, please let me know. And if anyone has info/opinions about Loyola, I'd love to hear them. Profile addy is good.
Oh, Calli, you'll be in my neighborhood and I'll be at work! Both of those days are Christmas Carol focus.
Eh, it looks like I'm getting bumped from my flight. To be honest, I don't feel great about this interview, so I'm kinda ok with it.
And they got me on another one, so I'm in Chicago and have consumed something called malort.
Boy you are jumping into the Chicago experience! How long are you here?
Just until this afternoon. I had a 7:30 flight, which was canceled because O'Hare*. But they got me on a 4:00 one with a stop in Detroit. Even if I got stuck there I have family who would put me up.
*Yes, it's snowing. But it's Chicago. That should not be an issue. And, let's face it, "because O'Hare" is an explanation for a lot of flying-related stuff.
