ha the second one. hahahaha. cries.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I have no recs for LA, but I'd love to do dinner in SD, Suzi!
Suzi, Burbank is ALWAYS easier than LAX, though it's often more expensive. If you can swing it, highly recommend! The best time to drive to San Diego during the day would be to leave around 11 a.m. That will get you around the worst of the morning and afternoon traffic.
Wednesday as in this week? Would love to see you! Want to come over for dinner? If you are staying downtown, you can take the Metro to North Hollywood and I can pick you up there no problem...?
Suzi, I'll note that I went on a work trip this spring that involved meetings in both LA and San Diego.
I made a point of us staying in downtown LA because that puts you below the downtown interchange, which can save you a half hour of driving time to San Diego.
So we were able to bust out of LA and just hit the freeway south without crawling through any crosstown traffic.
(The Northern California example would be bypassing the MacArthur Maze.)
You're here this Thursday, Suzi, right? I just want to make sure before I move some things around. Looking forward to seeing you!
Pix, meeting up for dinner Wednesday would be wonderful, but depends on how late people ask questions after training. If we can leave it a bit loose, I'd love to see y'all. I'm not staying in LA Wednesday night. Current hotel reservation is in Doheny Beach.
Epic, I'm planning on getting into San Diego Thurs morning. Will work from Starbucks or something, but I don't have to be in the office until Friday morning. Dinner Thurs would be wonderful.
I'm guessing we missed each other! Safe travels south.
I'm sorry Pix. I didn't get out of the office until late and I still had more work to do. I'm just now relaxing enough ti look at fun stuff.
Suzi, profile addy and cell# are good. I get off about 5 today. Let me know when you're ready to start planning a plan. Safe travels in the meanwhile!
Thanks Epic. I'm actually in the ER waiting to get a bed. Long story and a bunch of strange symptoms. When I called my doc, I was told to go to the ER to rule out a stroke. Personally, I don't think that is my issue, but triage decided they want to run some tests and monitor me. Ugh.
